As a strategy consultant and advisor to tech/digital startup and scale-up founders, learning to be comfortable being uncomfortable and riding the highs and lows between project assignments is one of the biggest lessons over the past four years. The safe harbour of a career, working for well-known brands, and amassing knowledge and experience has enabled me to do what I do, but building your brand and niche takes resilience and patience and is very much worth it. Life is a learning process, so any knockback is an opportunity for growth, reframing, or filed in the experience bank.
